Cosmetics I Can’t Live Without
8 years ago / in Baubles
There are some things in life that you can’t live without. When it comes to food, I would say coffee & popcorn. Clothes, I would say a t-shirt & a blazer. Books? Harry Potter & Harry Potter. Every morning I get up & go through the same routine, using the same essentials. Summer is the time to try something new, but I thought I would share the cosmetics that I can’t live without!
Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation
^^ after a wash with cleanser, I apply a layer of this. It’s super light, but really moisturizing. I also make sure that my eyelids & underneath my eyes get a smidge so that they’re prepped & smooth for eye shadow.
Lancome Long-Lasting Undereye Concealer
^^ after moisturizing, I apply this under my eyes & to my lids. This little miracle cream evens out everything & creates a perfect base. It can be a little pricey, but it goes on smooth & little goes a long way…the last thing you want is a cakey texture under your eyes!
Tartlette In Bloom Palette
^^ isn’t it just so pretty? I’m a sucker for good packaging.
^^ this palette has one of the best assortments of colours I have ever seen. Usually there’s a couple colours you’re stuck with that you never use…like yellow. Why would I want yellow? (no offense to anyone out there that wears yellow eyeshadow. All us nude wearers secretly wish we could be as edgy as you.) I usually start with a neutral base, line my crease with something a little darker & then use one of the darkest colours with a damp angled brush as an eyeliner.
Benefit Gimme Brow
^^ this is an all-in-one brow perfecter. With a wand like a mascara applicator & a tinted formula that keeps everything in place, this little tube is all you need. Your brows will be…uhh…do people still use “fleek”? Well, your brows will be whatever the latest term is.
CoverGirl Full Lash Bloom
^^ full, even lashes that don’t clump. What more could you ask for? & it’s got that Katy Perry stamp of approval for those of you who only buy Perry certified products.
Benefit Watt’s Up!
^^ the cutest little highlighter in town…& the “punniest”. I apply this just below my brow & across the tops of my cheeks. Apparently I’ve been on this “strobing” trend before it was even a trend…I know, I’m cool.
What cosmetic absence would threaten your existence?
